Calcot West Barn Conference Centre

A new facility has been built at Calcot Manor, incorporating the latest audio visual systems. The facility has two large rooms, one of which can be sub-divided into two smaller rooms. Upstairs a purpose-built wall unit houses the rear projection video screen and other AV equipment, as well as providing storage.

The lower room has a plasma screen in each half of the room and a retractable projector and screen located in the ceiling. When operating as two small rooms, a 42" plasma panel provides the AV display. However, operating as a combined room there is a choice of simultaneous display on both plasma screens, or the LCD projector and screen can be used. Due to the complex nature of these rooms, a sophisticated AMX system takes control, allowing the operator to press a single button to configure the AV system to their exact requirements. Each area has a 7.5" colour touch screen located within the wall panels, allowing full control of every aspect of the AV system.
