With an ageing theatrical lighting system we were called in by Kingswood Academy (formerly Kingswood College of Arts) to provide a comprehensive, modern theatrical lighting system for the 189-seat theatre. Our design had to be suitable for the Academy’s use and for touring production use.
In addition to lighting the rear of the stage with a number of Cyclorama’s we used a number of Fresnel and Profile lanterns, fitting a DMX dimming system to provide full control. This was connected to a Zero 88 Fat Frog lighting desk which also provided control of the moving head, Martin Mac 250 Colour Washes and Martin MAC 250 Kryptons.
