This property features a multi-zone audio system and home cinema room. All main rooms including the master bedroom have integrated speakers located in the ceilings with wall mounted touch screen controllers located just inside the entrance to each room. The system employed on this project is the Systemline Modular. This system operates over CAT5, making installation simple and keeps wiring runs to a minimum. Each zone has its own controller and ceiling speakers. Within each zone is a local input connection point for feeding audio from the TV. The zone can also select from a number of centrally located sources, such as a music server which stores a vast number of CD quality audio tracks, iPods or a radio tuner. The touch screen can access the full track lists on remote iPods, allowing you to leave your iPod in one location and access the music from any room in the house. Systemline also allows you to send IR remote control information back to remote devices such as a centrally located Sky box.

Systemline’s new features also allow portable wireless touch screen controllers to be used in each zone, preventing the need to leave the comfort of your armchair. Systemline can also integrate with Lutron lighting control systems, allowing the touch screens to control lighting scenes around the house, giving you the ultimate home automation system.

The home cinema room consists of a 63” Plasma TV, with sources from Sky HD, Blue-Ray or a video server. Like the audio server, this device allows you to download your DVD library to access a DVD simply at the push of a button. The audio uses B&W speakers, providing an extremely high quality audio system to match the high resolution TV imagery. Control of the home cinema is via an RTI colour wireless touch screen controller. Home theatre seating adds the final touch to the room.
