This three bedroom apartment was specified with background music in all living areas, with HD TV in the lounge and master bedroom. Other bedrooms have TVs with integrated DVD players. The client spends some of their time overseas, so the ability to connect to his home was essential. The client was open to suggestions on the best system for his needs. Control4 was selected as it both met his budget and offered features such as control from iPad and iPhone and remote access. The Master bedroom was fitted with an in-wall iPod docking station, with an additional docking station installed in the utility room for easy access from the kitchen and lounge areas on the upper floor. A hard drive music server and the Control4 multi-tuner complete the background music choices.

A background music system is installed in bedrooms two and three, and both are cabled for future expansion to a full control system.

Future plans include connection to lighting and heating and the addition of network video players.
