Venue PA Systems

AB Audio Visual design and install all types of Venue PA system. These can be split into zones allowing different styles of music to be played into different areas, but can also allow paging announcements to be made to selected areas. Music sources can range from radio/DAB, CD and specialist hard drive or satellite sources specifically aimed at the health and fitness market. For spa areas and treatment rooms we can provide systems that will allow independent control of volume and music source in each area. Lighting Design

AB Audio Visual can provide everything from lighting design to supply and installation. As a matter of course, we design environmentally friendly lighting solutions that use fittings with low energy consumption and a long lamp life. Increasingly, we are using more LED based products within our designs, these can either be white, fixed colour, or colour changing. We also have colour changing LED products that can be used externally. Changing the ambience in/outside your venue does not have to be prohibitively expensive either.

Previous projects have included the automated sequence of lighting in treatment rooms using fibre optics to create a scene of daylight fading into night time and back to daylight. The system also faded in a sound track of waves on a beach. This system was automated so a therapist could settle the client within the therapy room, press the appropriate time button and the sequence would be totally automated, bringing up a prompt light a few minutes before the end of the cycle to allow the therapist to return.

Fibre optics embedded into ceilings can produce a star effect. A single light source allows multiple points of light to be distributed over a ceiling. Using fibres of varying sizes, with a controllable colour, brightness and twinkle effect, successfully creates a night time sky scene.

Display Screens

We offer a selection of screens, both LCD and plasma, in a wide range of sizes from 19" - 103". LCD screens are recommended for digital signage applications as this technology does not suffer from screen burn when showing repetitive images. Simply updating your TV screens can instantly improve the look and feel of your venue - they can be wall mounted or ceiling suspended to suit your requirements.

Digital Signage

We have a range of digital signage products which allow you to produce dynamic signs using LCD displays. These systems can also be used to provide a customised channel on cardio entertainment screens. An added feature of some of these products is the ability to superimpose graphical information and scrolling text onto a broadcast TV channel. This is an affordable, simple to use, yet sophisticated looking method of getting your marketing and sales messages across.

Cardio Entertainment

We supply a range of cardio entertainment systems including hardwired, wireless and personal screens. The Cloud Pump Station provides a cost effective hardwired solution, particularly for a smaller gym. Audeon offers a wireless solution using 8 or 16 channels. The units can be mounted on CV equipment with the receivers powered from the CSAFE socket, or can be used as a walkabout system, powered by an internal rechargeable battery. Our CVision personal screens provide a cost effective add-on screen to CV equipment that does not already have an integrated screen.

We can supply headphones to support any cardio entertainment system - sell them to your members to increase secondary spend.

Dance/Aerobic/Spin Studio PA Systems

We design studio systems to suit the size of your room. The system can be designed to provide music sources from CD, MP3, cassette or any other external source. The style, quantity and number of speakers is chosen to meet the design criteria. Add a lighting design that will allow you to create a relaxing atmosphere for pilates, through to a dynamic high energy show for a spin class, and you will have a studio that is second to none.

Maintenance

AB Audio Visual offer maintenance of virtually all brands of cardio entertainment and audio visual systems. We offer the service and repair or refurbishment of most cardio entertainment top boxes, both hardwired and wireless, which is often more economical than replacing existing boxes with new ones. We also offer the service and repair of headmic systems. We also offer a full on-site maintenance service.
