This project in Wembley, North london demonstrates the full extent of a fully integrated ‘Smart Home’. Our client was very keen to have a single app that allows the control of every facet of his home. Control4 was selected as a reliable solution with its proven time in the market.
The ability to provide upgrades to keep the system up to date was also a key element. The client was very keen to use Lutron for his lighting control and its integration with Control4 is superb.
Eight zones of UHD TV distribution allows all the video sources to be located in the centralised comms rack and delivered to all TV’s, avoiding having AV clutter around the house, creating a sleek installation. This is supported by a multi-room audio system, utilising the Triad range of multi-channel audio amplifiers and a variety of speaker brands, giving the client the option of playing HD sound around his home and garden.
The underfloor heating throughout the house is controlled directly by Heatmiser Neo, allowing simple whole house control via the Control4 app.
Other solutions around the house include CCTV, access control and a security alarm.
Gary and his team are extraordinarily knowledgeable about Home Automation and delivered an all-singing, all-dancing system which integrates Control4 AV distribution, home networking and heating and cooling automation with Lutron lighting and security components from Hik-Vision and Takex.
Gary is highly approachable and will take his time to ensure the client will get the right specification and is keen to contribute his own vast experience to take things to a higher level. From system design, to installation and after-care, I am thoroughly pleased I chose AB Audio Visual with such a complex and high end job.
